[Hiring] Senior Product Manager AI @Pennylane SAS

Role Description

As Senior Product Manager, AI, you will shape the Studio Builder product from the ground up. You will define the vision, understand where AI can create genuine customer value, and turn a highly complex technical ambition into a simple, useful, and scalable product experience.

How you will contribute as a Product Manager

• Lead continuous discovery with SMEs, accountants, and internal users
• Turn complex customer problems into clear product opportunities
• Define the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and OKRs
• Explore and validate new ideas through prototypes, experiments, and MVPs
• Work closely with engineers and designers from problem discovery through implementation and iteration
• Make AI concepts understandable and valuable for non-technical users
• Build strong product narratives and communicate them clearly to customers, stakeholders, and leadership
• Balance long-term product ambition with pragmatic, incremental delivery
• Collaborate with teams building the shared AI platform, Studio Coworker, and Autopilot
• Develop strong product principles for building AI-powered experiences at Pennylane
• Measure the impact of what you ship and use those learnings to guide future decisions
• Influence without authority across a complex, fast-growing organisation

What you can expect during your first months

• Within one month: Learn about Pennylane, our customers, our product, and our vision during onboarding
• Within three months: Define a clear view of the most important customer problems and use cases
• Within six months: Be autonomous in defining and steering the Studio Builder roadmap

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Manager working on AI-powered products, developer tools, platforms, workflow automation, SaaS or other complex B2B products
• Experience taking a product or product area from 0 to 1
• Strong understanding of how AI products are built and used
• Excellent product sense and ability to identify genuine user value
• A hands-on and pragmatic mindset
• Strong user research skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong strategic thinking combined with a bias towards action and delivery
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguity
• Ability to influence without authority
• A strong interest in the future of software, automation, and extensible product platforms
• Experience in fintech, accounting, or financial software is not required
• French is not mandatory, but it would be a strong advantage
• Nice to have: experience with agent platforms, developer ecosystems, low-code/no-code tools, workflow automation, open platforms or product-led growth
