[Hiring] Product Manager, Data Products @Prendio

Role Description

Prendio's platform runs procurement and payments for biotech companies, providing a unique perspective on how life sciences organizations buy. This role focuses on owning data products, transforming insights into marketable products, and expanding into the supplier side as the area matures.

• Own the data product strategy.
• Define what to build, who it is for, and why.
• Identify proprietary and non-proprietary data assets with commercial value.
• Build the roadmap and sequence it for optimal success.
• Take products from concept to revenue.
• Run customer discovery to validate product ideas.
• Own packaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
• Prove commercial value through measurable revenue.
• Work closely with data analysts, architects, and engineering.
• Prototype concepts independently.
• Handle compliance aspects of data commercialization.
• Project manage delivery with engineering teams.
• Ensure clarity in priorities and maintain project momentum.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience taking data products from concept through commercialization.
• A strategic product thinker with an understanding of data commercialization mechanics and risks.
• A background in data roles such as analyst, data architect, or analytics.
• Comfortable with SQL and data concepts, engaging with technical teams.
• Able to prototype independently.
• Experience in a regulated industry with compliance and data-rights considerations.

Requirements

• Life sciences, biotech, procurement, or supplier-side experience.
• B2B SaaS or platform experience.
• Experience evaluating and selecting embedded analytics or BI tooling.
• Experience pricing and packaging new products.
• Exposure to AI or agentic analytics in a product context.
