Role Description

Angi is looking for a product manager to steward the platform's product direction within the Data Infrastructure team. This role focuses on creating a self-service product experience for engineers and analysts while integrating AI agents into the workflow.

What You'll Do

  • Product Management
    • Manage governed platform access for safe, auditable data access.
    • Streamline orchestration and scheduling into one default system.
    • Drive data ingestion and replication for self-service capabilities.
    • Oversee legacy system retirement with clear ownership transitions.
    • Optimize compute cost efficiency by reducing unnecessary costs.
    • Advance compute strategy diversification for varied workloads.
    • Build the platform's AI-ready substrate for safe agentic workflows.
  • Execution and Individual Contribution
    • Use AI agents in daily work and set norms for safe experimentation.
    • Protect the team's focus and drive outcomes without micromanagement.
    • Build trust through empathetic and transparent communication.
    • Collaborate closely with Data Engineering's delivery teams toward a unified technical strategy.

Qualifications

  • Five or more years of product management experience on a data or infrastructure platform team.
  • Comfortable reading system architecture and pipeline dependencies.
  • A record of completing cross-team migrations and retirements.
  • Transparent about areas of growth and open to learning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience weighing compute cost against performance and developer experience.
  • Working knowledge of how AI agents consume data and tools differently from people.
  • A proactive approach to navigating new technical systems and key contacts.
