[Hiring] Product Manager, Data Products @Prendio - BioProcure

Role Description

Prendio's platform runs procurement and payments for biotech companies. This role is to own data products at Prendio, turning insights into products that customers will pay for and taking them to market. You will start on the biotech side of the business and expand into the supplier side as the area matures.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the data product strategy
• Define what we build, who it is for, and why
• Identify which proprietary and non-proprietary data assets carry commercial value
• Build the roadmap and sequence it around where we have the best chance to win
• Take products from concept to revenue
• Run discovery with customers to validate what is worth building
• Own packaging, pricing, and go-to-market in partnership with the business line owner, sales, and marketing
• Prove commercial value; products are expected to generate measurable revenue
• Work close to the data
• Partner with analysts, architects, and engineering to translate opportunities into concrete requirements
• Prototype your own concepts
• Handle the compliance side of commercializing data
• Understand data rights, privacy, contractual restrictions, and regulatory obligations
• Drive execution
• Project manage delivery with engineering
• Own the underlying capabilities your products depend on
• Bring customer and commercial context into the room

What Success Looks Like

• Identified commercially viable data assets
• At least one data product in market, priced, and generating revenue
• A roadmap the business believes in, sequenced by real opportunities
• Engineering and data team know what they are building and why
• Compliance and data-rights questions answered early in the process

Your First 90 Days

• Learn the data and understand what we hold
• Talk to customers and run structured discovery on the biotech side
• Inventory opportunities and rank them by commercial potential and feasibility
• Pick the first bet and build the case for it
• Deliver a sequenced roadmap for the first year of data products

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience taking data products from concept through commercialization
• A strategic product thinker with understanding of risks in turning data into a commercial product
• A background in data roles such as analyst, data architect, or analytics
• Comfortable with SQL and data concepts
• Able to prototype independently
• Experience in a regulated industry with compliance, privacy, and data-rights considerations

Helpful Background

• Life sciences, biotech, procurement, or supplier-side experience
• B2B SaaS or platform experience
• Experience evaluating and selecting embedded analytics or BI tooling
• Experience pricing and packaging a product that had not been sold before
• Exposure to AI or agentic analytics in a product context
