Role Description

Babylist is growing to support more families in more ways and personalization is at the core of our strategy and product innovation. We’re hiring a principal designer to own it. This role is the durable design and experience owner for personalization, accountable for the UX, vision, KPIs, and quality bar that define how it feels across our product.

• Translate company goals into clear priorities.
• Take bold bets, pushing past safe incrementalism.
• Advocate for customers’ long-term needs while ensuring business impact.
• Get into the work, codebase, and data directly rather than delegating.
• Partner with engineers, PMs, and analysts as peer-builders.
• Shape craft standards and operating model for Design at Babylist.
• Lead Design’s transition to AI-native product development at scale.

About Compensation

We use a market-based approach to compensation. The starting salary range for this role is:

• CA$ 251,600 to CA$ 302,000

Your starting salary will be based on your location, experience, and qualifications, with increases over time tied to performance, role growth, and internal pay equity.
