Role Description
This role will be responsible for managing and driving end-to-end product planning and execution of Green Dot products and services for existing and new partners.
- Design, develop and manage activities for launching Green Dot’s partner products and services from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life
- Lead all stages of a product’s lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line
- Work closely with senior management to define product roadmap and strategy
- Analyze product requirements and develop appropriate processes and artefacts to ensure they’re successfully delivered
- Define functional and non-functional technical requirements and prioritize them with business owners and other stakeholders
- Triage product defects and ensure proper ownership and delegation towards resolutions
- Collaborate closely across various teams including Engineering, QA, and Account Management teams
- Manage compliance with all IT governance standards through approved tools, templates, policies, procedures, and processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field preferred
- Technical background, with at least 5 years of product management experience preferred and 1+ years of fintech experience strongly preferred
- Ability to explain business requirements to technical teams, and demystify technical details for business teams
- Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience in managing an API-based B2B services strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of FinTech products and services preferred

- The targeted base salary for this position is $120,700 to $180,900 per year
- The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location
