[Hiring] Head of Product Engineering @Secfix

Role Description

As an engineering leader at Secfix, you will:

• Ship meaningful features with AI alongside the team.
• Make the team faster by identifying and fixing inefficiencies.
• Own hiring and team structure as the organization grows.
• Run engineering processes, including testing, code reviews, and team organization.
• Refine software development processes to maintain high velocity.
• Ensure quality through improved testing and code review practices.
• Lead the hiring plan and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as a software engineer, including 6+ years leading engineering teams.
• 2+ years managing managers or tech leads.
• Experience growing an engineering team to 15+ at a VC-funded startup.
• Experience building hiring processes, performance reviews, and salary bands.
• Product taste with a keen sense for product quality.
• Hands-on experience with AI features in production.
• Strong written communication skills for remote work.

Requirements

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code and Cursor.
• Ability to work in the European timezone (CET/CEST).
• Experience in startups and understanding of low process environments.
