[Hiring] Product Engineering Lead @Secfix

Role Description

At Secfix, we're building security compliance systems for teams and agents to become and stay compliant with less effort. We are looking for a top-notch engineer who leads from the codebase, owns technical decisions, sets the pace, and has product taste.

In the first 3 months, you will:

• Month 1: Ship a meaningful feature with AI alongside the team.
• Month 2: Make the team faster by identifying and fixing inefficiencies.
• Month 3: Own technical hiring and build a process for it.

Beyond the first 3 months, you will own technical decisions and manage the team as it grows. You will refine software development processes, improve quality, and mentor team members.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as a software engineer at senior or staff level.
• 1+ years as a tech lead (formal or de facto) for a team of 3+.
• Experience shipping AI features to production.
• Strong OOP fundamentals; Java Spring Boot, Hibernate, or equivalent.
• Relational database design and SQL optimization experience.
• Experience interviewing engineering candidates.
• Ability to work in European timezone (CET/CEST).

Requirements

• Exceptional IC track record.
• Product taste with a keen sense for what makes a product feel great.
• Experience building and shipping with Claude Code and Cursor in real production work.
• Ability to lead system design and own architecture.
• Experience building something from zero to one at a startup.
