Role Description

As a Consultant, Process Improvement on the Business Performance team in Operational Excellence, you will help the organization work smarter by:

• Identifying waste and understanding why problems occur.
• Removing redundant steps and improving the way work gets done.
• Partnering with leaders and business partners across core functions.
• Analyzing complex business and systems processes.
• Uncovering root causes and turning findings into practical changes.
• Creating measurable value beyond a single project.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys:

• Bringing clarity to complexity and leading through influence.
• Guiding process redesign and improvement initiatives.
• Facilitating root-cause analysis.
• Evaluating current workflows and tools.
• Recommending simplifications, standardizations, redesigns, or eliminations of work.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, mathematics or related field preferred.
• Process-related certifications preferred.
• Product-related technical insurance coursework (e.g., CPCU, CPU, LOMA) preferred.
• Typically, eight or more years of experience in business process design or operations.

Requirements

• Expertise in process analysis, design, and implementation.
• Knowledge of project management concepts and techniques.
• Proficiency in process development or operations preferred.
• Strong communication skills and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work with process vendors in the delivery of project solutions.
