Role Description
At ICON Strategic Solutions, you will work in a sponsor-dedicated model, supported by ICONβs global expertise. As a Senior Medical Technologist at ICON, you will conduct complex laboratory analyses and tests to support clinical trials and research studies.
What You Will Do:

Take ownership of scientific operations deliverables, applying your expertise to complex challenges.

Perform advanced laboratory tests and analyses in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.

Oversee laboratory operations, including sample processing, equipment maintenance, and quality control procedures to ensure compliance with accreditation standards.

Collaborate with clinical research teams to support study design and implement laboratory methods that align with project goals.

Interpret and validate test results, providing technical expertise, and troubleshooting any laboratory issues that may arise.

Train and mentor junior laboratory staff, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the laboratory environment.

Participate in the development and implementation of laboratory protocols, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory compliance.

Assist with audits and inspections by providing documentation and demonstrating adherence to laboratory standards and practices.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or laboratory science.

Extensive experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with a strong understanding of laboratory operations and quality assurance processes.

Proven ability to perform complex laboratory tests and analyses, with expertise in specific areas of medical technology.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and electronic medical records (EMR).
