Role Description

HerMission is seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and results-driven Health & Wellness Coach to support individuals in achieving their personal health and wellness goals. The successful candidate will provide personalized coaching, develop practical wellness strategies, and empower clients to adopt healthier lifestyles through sustainable behavioral changes.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a genuine passion for helping others, and the ability to motivate individuals toward long-term improvements in their physical, emotional, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual wellness assessments to understand clients' health goals, lifestyle habits, and wellness needs.
• Develop personalized health and wellness plans tailored to individual goals and circumstances.
• Provide ongoing coaching, encouragement, and accountability to help clients maintain healthy habits.
• Educate clients on nutrition, physical activity, stress management, sleep improvement, and preventive wellness.
• Monitor client progress and adjust wellness strategies based on individual results.
• Conduct virtual coaching sessions, follow-ups, and wellness consultations.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, progress reports, and coaching notes.
• Research and recommend evidence-based wellness practices and resources.
• Collaborate with other healthcare and wellness professionals when necessary.
• Promote a supportive, positive, and client-centered coaching environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in Health Coaching, Nutrition, Exercise Science, Public Health, or a related field preferred.
• Professional health and wellness coaching certification is an advantage.
• Previous experience in health coaching, wellness consulting, fitness, or client support is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
• Ability to motivate, educate, and build lasting relationships with clients.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using digital communication platforms and wellness management tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements.
