Role Description

Spinwell is recruiting for a Senior Clinical Coder for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

• Demonstrate the ability to analyse complex clinical information, adhering to the national rules and conventions of ICD-10 and OPCS classifications codes.
• Support Trust information, Service Line Reporting, Clinical Governance and facilitate maximisation of the Trust income in line with PbR (Payment by Results).
• Mentor and support junior staff.

Qualifications

• A Level English & Science or equivalent experience.
• National Clinical Coding Accreditation.
• Experience working in an acute hospital setting.
• NHSD Standards.
• Human Anatomy.

Requirements

• Good Communicator.
• Able to share knowledge and mentor junior staff.
• Organisation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Reliable.
• Able to prioritise team’s work as well as own.
• Ability to plan and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to any client site if and when required.

Benefits

• Pay Rate to Intermediary: Up to £20.16 per hour.
• Contract Length: TBC.
• Location: Fully Remote.
• IR35: Inside.
