Role Description
ARC Health is seeking a highly qualified, Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join our thriving practice in Ann Arbor, MI. Our ideal candidate is an experienced clinician who is passionate about providing comprehensive psychiatric care across the lifespan—ages 5 through 80—in an outpatient setting who works 10-16 hours per week.

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients in the outpatient setting.

Provide medication management and therapy to a diverse patient population.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Stay current with advancements in psychiatric treatment and research methodologies.

Make referrals for psychotherapy when indicated and collaborate with all other mental health professionals involved in the patient’s care to ensure comprehensive treatment.

Maintain accurate and confidential client records and complete all documentation in compliance with legal/ethical standards.

Advocate for clients' needs and rights, including access to psychiatric services and medications.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Active, unrestricted medical license in Michigan, or willing to obtain.

Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD or DO).

Possess and maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA”) number and all other licenses and certificates that may be lawfully required to prescribe medications, including controlled substances.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience treating children, adolescents, adults, and older adults (ages 5–80) in private practice.

Strong understanding of psychiatrist assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic techniques.

Knowledge of evidence-based interventions in psychiatric treatment.
