Role Description

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner licensed in Alberta (AB), preferably with cross-jurisdictional licensure.
• 2+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience, with demonstrated experience of providing patients with the best possible care.
• Physically located in Alberta, with an AB practitioner ID, required for ordering laboratory testing.
• Member in good standing of the College(s) where they hold the title of Nurse Practitioner, maintaining eligibility and willingness to be licensed in other provinces.
• Experience in telemedicine; additional experience in weight loss, menopause, mental health, ED, and birth control care are assets.
• Proficient understanding of technology, EMRs, and remote work.
• Adaptable and open to change.

Requirements

• Available to provide a minimum of 8 hours of scheduled time per week on the platform.
• Log in every 24-48 hours to address patient needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow the code of conduct as per the governing body of their province/territory.
