Role Description

The Department of Radiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) is seeking a fellowship trained teleradiologist for a remote evening position with manageable imaging volumes. This remote position has an evening schedule (5PM – 3AM CST). Salary is highly competitive for this model (W2 and 1099 options are available).

• Reading a mixture of both ER, inpatient, and outpatient studies.
• Outstanding credentials and experience in the interpretation of:
  • CT
  • CTA
  • MRI
  • Ultrasound
  • Plain films
• Preference for candidates who have completed a neuroradiology or emergency radiology fellowship.
• Reading alongside excellent in-house residents.
• Minimal phone call responsibilities.
• No lectures or research responsibilities required unless specifically sought out by the candidate.
• Comfortable interpreting imaging studies outside of primary subspecialty.
• Coupled with a fellowship trained neuroradiologist and a body radiologist during all hours of this shift.
• Additional swing shift radiologist coverage utilized to keep imaging volumes manageable.
• Utilizes state-of-the-art equipment in:
  • Diagnostic radiology
  • Interventional radiology
  • Ultrasound
  • Computed tomography
  • Magnetic resonance imaging
  • Nuclear medicine

Qualifications

• M.D. Board Certified in Radiology
