[Hiring] Medical Biller @Patriot At Home

Role Description

The responsibilities of our Medical Billers Include:

• Prepare and submit company/patient billing.
• Assist with accounts receivable and collection activity.
• Complete patient visit log.
• Prepare and submit supply list for billing.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Conditions:

• Position is stressful in terms of meeting deadlines.
• It is primarily a desk job, which essentially involves sitting, standing, stooping, and walking, as well as an inordinate amount of telephone communication.

Qualifications

• Two years of home healthcare and hospice billing experience or basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet regulatory deadlines and deliver effective results.
• Excellent computer and phone skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
