Role Description

As we expand, we are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and highly organized Medical Biller to join our team. You will play a vital role in our revenue cycle, ensuring the financial health of our clinic while minimizing billing friction for our patients and their caregivers.

This role acts as a core pillar of our financial operations and revenue cycle management. You will be responsible for critical billing functions, including:

• Payment posting
• Secondary claim submission
• Benefit verification
• Patient invoicing

You'll primarily support our clinical and administrative teams by ensuring that services are accurately billed and collected, while also assisting patients with their financial inquiries. The position blends financial and administrative precision with a patient-first mindset. The ideal candidate is adept at navigating complex insurance guidelines, resolves billing discrepancies efficiently, and can communicate financial obligations clearly and empathetically to older adults and their families.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of experience in medical billing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare financial services
• Demonstrated expertise in payment posting, secondary claim submission, and verifying eligibility of benefits
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex billing and insurance concepts clearly and empathetically to older adults
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple financial priorities with a high degree of accuracy
• Familiarity with medical billing software, clearinghouses, EMRs, and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace)
• Reliable high-speed internet connection
• Must be available to work U.S. business hours (Eastern Time)
