Role Description

Health Information Partners (HIP) is seeking a highly skilled Part-Time Coder with specialized experience in Interventional Radiology coding. This role offers premium pay and approximately 20 hours per week of work, with the flexibility to choose your schedule. • Accurately code Professional Fee records for Interventional Radiology procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Apply expert knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems to maintain coding accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilize Epic software to perform coding tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure coding quality and adherence to guidelines.
• Stay updated on coding regulations and best practices to support compliance efforts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent Professional Fee coding experience, with a focus on Interventional Radiology.
• Expert knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Proficiency in Epic software is required.
• CPC, CCS, or equivalent certification is mandatory.

Requirements

• Applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment coding proficiency test to demonstrate expertise.
• Undergo and pass criminal record, OIG, and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
