[Hiring] Vice President of Marketing @Prompt.io

Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Leader to build and own Prompt.io’s marketing function. This is an opportunity to shape our marketing strategy from the ground up and make a measurable impact on the company’s growth.

• Develop and execute strategies that expand our top-of-funnel pipeline and support revenue goals.
• Lead efforts across brand awareness, positioning, messaging, demand generation, and digital marketing.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure marketing is aligned with broader business objectives and directly contributes to growth.
• Help craft our messaging and value proposition(s) in ways that resonate with our target customers.
• Own our event marketing strategy as a primary driver of pipeline and revenue, partnering with Sales and the events team.
• Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan that builds sales opportunities and brand awareness, with a clear line to revenue generation.
• Manage the marketing budget and ensure strong ROI on marketing spend.
• Set short- and long-term marketing goals to grow demand generation and top-of-funnel pipeline.
• Monitor and iterate on all marketing campaigns based on performance.
• Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly.
• Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and growth opportunities, and track competitor activity.
• Educate customers on our platform and services.
• Manage a team of marketing professionals across a range of responsibilities and deliverables.
• Partner closely with the VP of Sales to identify marketing opportunities and more.
• Some light travel to be expected.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in marketing, including experience managing a marketing team.
• Demonstrated success designing and implementing marketing campaigns.
• Solid knowledge of marketing automation, SEO, web analytics, and email marketing.
• Familiarity with the U.S. political landscape and the ability to translate that understanding into messaging and positioning.
• Demonstrated familiarity with SaaS products and business models.
• Proven experience leading event marketing as a core growth channel.
• Comfortable giving honest, timely feedback to your team.
• Metrics-oriented, with a strong focus on ROI.
• Strong sense of initiative, ownership, and accountability.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Genuine ambition and desire for personal and professional growth.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Knowledge of HubSpot and Webflow.
