Role Description

As a TikTok Shop Director, you will join a fast-growing beauty and hair care brand expanding its digital operations across Latin American markets. In this role, you will take complete ownership of TikTok Shop as a standalone D2C business line, scaling the channel through data-driven growth strategies, paid media, affiliate partnerships, and operational execution.

You will operate as the primary business owner of the TikTok Shop channel, combining strategic planning, financial accountability, and hands-on execution. Bridging commercial objectives with day-to-day platform management, you will be accountable for revenue growth, contribution margins, paid media performance, inventory availability, promotional calendars, and affiliate program outcomes.

Accountability

As a TikTok Shop Director, your success will be defined by your ability to independently own, build, and scale TikTok Shop as a profitable D2C business line.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

• TikTok Shop Business Ownership & Strategy:
  • Develop and execute the overarching channel growth strategy to scale revenue and contribution margin.
  • Establish commercial priorities, performance targets, and operational standards for the channel.
  • Evaluate channel performance continually and pivot growth initiatives to balance speed with unit economic health.
• Channel P&L & Financial Performance:
  • Own the monthly TikTok Shop P&L, monitoring gross merchandise value (GMV), costs, and contribution margin.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of promotional activity, paid media efficiency, and affiliate commission structures.
  • Develop financial forecasts, growth projections, and commercial investment models to guide strategy.
• TikTok Seller Center Management:
  • Manage day-to-day platform operations through Seller Center, including product catalog accuracy and listing health.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate product launches, resolving catalog or operational blockers promptly.
  • Maintain complete operational visibility across the channel in alignment with fulfillment stakeholders.
• Paid Media & GMV Max Optimization:
  • Oversee TikTok Shop paid media strategy and manage GMV Max campaigns.
  • Develop advertising budgets, monitor ROAS, and optimize campaign efficiency to protect contribution margins.
  • Allocate media budgets strategically across core SKUs, product launches, and key promotional events.
• Promotional Strategy & LIVE Commerce:
  • Develop and maintain the promotional calendar, coordinating LIVE shopping events and campaign launches.
  • Align promotional velocity with stock availability and customer conversion objectives.
  • Evaluate promotional performance to uncover repeatable growth levers across Latin American markets.
• Affiliate Leadership & Cross-Functional Governance:
  • Lead and provide direct strategic direction to the TikTok Affiliate Manager.
  • Establish affiliate program priorities, evaluating commission economics and overall channel contribution.
  • Collaborate across digital, creative, inventory, and executive teams to remove operational bottlenecks.

Colleagues

You will report directly to the Vice President of Digital as your primary functional lead while working closely with broader executive stakeholders, including the Chief Marketing Officer. You will also directly lead the TikTok Affiliate Manager and collaborate cross-functionally across creative, inventory, fulfillment, and digital commerce teams.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven track record scaling TikTok Shop revenue for a beauty, hair care, or DTC CPG brand, with direct accountability over channel revenue, paid media, and profitability.
• Tools/Systems: Expert-level mastery of TikTok Shop Seller Center, TikTok GMV Max, affiliate management platforms, and LIVE commerce tools, alongside P&L reporting and commercial forecasting models.
• Analytics/Process: Strong fluency in channel P&L management, contribution margin modeling, ROAS analysis, in-stock rate tracking, and conversion rate optimization.
• Mindset: Highly commercial, analytical, and proactive leader who thrives on taking full ownership of channel P&L targets in a fast-paced environment.

Role Specifications

This is a remote role, where you will be expected to work a split shift with some overlap with our client’s time zone. You will, however, be expected to be present for in-person training programs during your first 3.5 weeks with us.
