Role Description

We are looking for a Senior SEM Specialist with a track record of executing tests, analyzing data, and identifying trends to achieve optimal ROI in paid search campaigns. You will own tracking, reporting, and analysis of website and PPC performance, manage campaign spend, keep budgets accurate, and reconcile financial discrepancies.

What you'll be doing

• Execute tests and analyze data to find insights and maximize search campaign ROI.
• Track, report, and analyze website metrics and PPC campaign initiatives.
• Oversee campaign spending, adhere to budgets, and project monthly costs.
• Optimize ad copy and landing pages for search engine marketing efforts.
• Perform ongoing keyword research, expansion, and optimization.
• Research and analyze competitor advertising strategies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams such as Content, Product, and Sales.
• Mentor and provide leadership to junior team members.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in performance marketing, conversion, and customer acquisition strategies.
• Strong analytical mindset, comfortable building SEM reports and dashboards from complex data.
• Rigorous approach to testing, using A/B and multivariate experimentation to drive decisions.
• Sharp awareness of the latest search marketing trends and industry best practices.
• Comfortable managing budgets, reconciling spend, and projecting costs with precision.
• Effective cross-functional collaborator, partnering with Content, Product, and Sales.
• Natural mentor, able to guide and develop junior team members.
• SEM and eCommerce experience, successfully managing PPC across Google and Bing.
• Agency experience handling multiple clients.
• Extensive experience with data feeds, Google Ads Editor, and Performance Max campaigns.
• Experience using analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Amplitude, SEMrush, Looker, or Data Studio.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a quantitative field.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese, required.
• Google Ads certification is an asset.
• Proficiency in Meta Ads and TikTok Ads is an asset.
• SEO knowledge is an asset.
• Experience in digital companies, e-commerce, or performance marketing environments is an asset.
