[Hiring] Senior Media Buyer (Paid Search) @AIOS (YC W20/S21)

Role Description

As Senior Media Buyer (Paid Search) at AIOS, your mission is to unlock Google as a major growth channel, taking it from a small share of our paid mix today to a mature, scaled second engine that runs alongside Meta.

• Architect and drive scale-up: growing spend profitably without blowing out CAC.
• Ensure compliance with strict ASA and CAP rules governing ad copy.
• Ramp into accounts: current campaign structure, keyword strategy, tCPA dynamics, and more.
• Take increasing ownership of the Google operation end-to-end.
• Lead the Google pod and expand into EU markets as they launch.

Qualifications

• Proven Google scale (hands-on): Operated Google Ads accounts at £1M+/month spend.
• 5+ years of Google-specific depth: Knowledge of Search, Performance Max, Shopping, YouTube, and Demand Gen.
• DTC consumer experience: Scaled DTC brands while maintaining performance.
• Structured operator behaviors: Reliable forecasting, reporting, and planning.
• Ad copy and landing page fluency: Ability to write converting ad copy and collaborate with teams.
• Multi-geo experience: Managed Google Ads across multiple countries or complex workstreams.
• Startup intensity: Willingness to work 50+ hours/week in a high-ownership culture.

Requirements

• Compliance mastery: Operate under ASA/CAP and GPhC rules, particularly Rule 12.12.
• Multi-geo orchestration: Run multiple country accounts in parallel without dropping balls.
• Ad copy, feed, and landing page craft: Write ad copy that converts within compliance rules.
• Team building: Hire, mentor, and lead the Google pod as the team grows.
