[Hiring] Senior Marketing Specialist @TEC

Role Description

TEC is looking for an experienced Business Development & Demand Generation Specialist to help create new commercial opportunities within the sports and live events technology market. This is not a traditional marketing role. The primary objective is to identify the right organizations and decision makers, build relevant relationships, and create qualified conversations for TEC's Sales team.

The role combines business development; account-based prospecting, social selling and content led to demand generation. You will work closely with our Head of Client Growth.

The goal is to build a focused pipeline of target sports organisations and consistently create qualified introductory conversations with potential clients.

• Develop, recommend and implement the right organic demand generation approach to create qualified commercial opportunities for TEC, identifying and testing the channels, tactics and activities most likely to deliver results.
• Create approximately 10 LinkedIn posts per week in total across the TEC company page and selected TEC representatives. Adapt content to each voice and audience, using thought leadership, client proof, industry insights, events and relevant commercial topics to support the wider business development strategy.
• Identify and engage priority organisations and decision makers through the most relevant channels and activities. This may include personalised outreach, LinkedIn, email, industry events, partnerships, referrals, networking or other approaches identified as relevant.
• Regularly review results with Sales and Marketing, identify what is generating meaningful commercial conversations and continuously adjust the targeting, messaging, channels and overall approach.

Qualifications

• Strong B2B business development, demand generation or account based sales experience.
• Proven ability to develop and implement demand generation or business development approaches, not just execute predefined campaigns or channels.
• Experience working with complex technology, software or digital solutions.
• Strong research, prospecting and account mapping skills.
• Confidence identifying and using the right channels and tactics for targeted prospecting, relationship building and organic demand generation.
• Ability to understand a potential client's business problem before introducing a solution.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Comfortable working closely with both Sales and Marketing.
• Experience or an established network within sports, sports technology, federations, governing bodies, rights holders or live events would be a significant advantage.
