Role Description
Farber is seeking a Senior Programmatic & Paid Social Manager to join our Consumer Practice. Reporting to the Director, Performance Marketing, this role will lead the execution, optimization, and strategic advancement of Farber’s non-search paid media portfolio, with a primary focus on programmatic and paid social.
You will be the first line of accountability for agency-managed media by:
-
Independently monitoring delivery and performance.
-
Challenging recommendations with evidence.
-
Owning platform governance to catch and fix issues before they become costly.
This is a high-impact role for a performance marketer who combines strong channel expertise with:
-
Sharp analytical thinking.
-
Operational discipline.
-
A test-and-learn mindset.
You will help define and build Farber's future-state capabilities across DSPs, paid social platforms, ad operations, and measurement.
Key Responsibilities
-
Campaign Management & Execution:
-
Own day-to-day oversight of Farber’s non-search paid media investment across programmatic and paid social.
-
Partner closely with agency teams and platform partners to manage campaign setup, trafficking coordination, QA, pacing, monitoring, and optimization.
-
Drive media strategy and execution across display, online video, CTV, OTT, and paid social channels.
-
Lead paid social campaign oversight through the agency across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Reddit, and others.
-
Manage paid amplification and boosting of owned social content.
-
Identify and address performance issues quickly through bid, budget, audience, placement, inventory, and creative adjustments.
-
Ensure strong campaign foundations through proper tagging, pixel implementation, naming conventions, and media data hygiene.
-
Partner Accountability & Governance:
-
Hold agency and platform partners accountable to agreed SLAs for pacing, QA, issue detection, and escalation.
-
Evaluate agency and platform partner recommendations, quantifying expected impact before approving budget or tactic changes.
-
Own platform governance across DSPs and paid social.
-
Ensure campaigns meet financial-services advertising policies and internal compliance review prior to launch.
-
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
-
Deliver insight, not recaps: articulate what happened, why it happened, and what we should do next.
-
Optimize toward downstream outcomes, not platform-reported conversions alone.
-
Analyze media mix, channel allocation, budget distribution, forecasting, and pacing against lead generation and acquisition targets.
-
Partner with Analytics and agency teams to interpret performance and turn findings into action.
-
Drive a disciplined testing agenda across audiences, creative, placements, landing pages, and channel tactics.
-
Strategy, Innovation & Collaboration:
-
Shape audience-first, first-party data-informed media strategies.
-
Help define how programmatic and paid social work together across the funnel.
-
Assess new tools, platform features, and emerging media opportunities.
-
Partner closely with various teams to align paid media plans with broader business priorities.
-
Help raise the bar on media operations, documentation, and performance standards.
-
Mentor junior team members where applicable.
Qualifications
-
7+ years of experience in digital media, with strong depth in programmatic, paid social, campaign optimization, and performance analysis.
-
Proven track record holding agency and platform partners accountable for delivery, QA, and performance.
-
Experience optimizing to downstream outcomes and designing incrementality or lift tests.
-
Experience advertising in a regulated category (financial services preferred).
-
Hands-on, in-platform experience running campaigns in DV360, CM360, StackAdapt, and Meta Ads Manager.
-
Strong understanding of paid social campaign structure and optimization levers.
-
Strong working knowledge of tracking methodologies, attribution, and performance evaluation.
-
Fluency in pixel implementation, UTM governance, and media data hygiene best practices.
-
Strong proficiency with Google Analytics and media measurement platforms.
-
Working ad operations knowledge: trafficking and QA, creative specs, click tracker setup, and verification tools.
-
Exposure to Dynamic Creative Optimization and creative automation is an asset.
-
Strong strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and problem-solving ability.
-
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to turn complex performance data into actionable recommendations.
Benefits
-
Remote work model.
-
Vacation and wellness days.
-
Extended health and dental coverage, plus virtual doctor services.
-
Employee Assistance Program and mental health resources.
-
Company-matching retirement savings plan.
-
Financial support for professional development.
-
Annual company events.
-
Exclusive access to perks and discounts.
