Role Description

As a Senior Event Marketing Executive at Newton Media, you will be the driving force behind multi-channel marketing campaigns for a varied portfolio of conferences and awards. This role involves:

• Owning your campaigns: Planning, coordinating, and delivering integrated marketing campaigns that drive registrations, award nominations, and ticket sales.
• Creating content that converts: Writing compelling emails, landing pages, social content, and promotional copy that motivates action.
• Getting to know your audience: Understanding what makes different professional audiences tick and creating messaging that speaks directly to them.
• Making the most of every channel: Utilizing email, social media, digital content, and promotional partnerships to maximize campaign reach.
• Turning data into decisions: Tracking performance, spotting opportunities, and continually refining campaigns to deliver better results.
• Working with great people: Collaborating with events, editorial, sales, and design teams to bring campaigns to life.

You will be juggling multiple events, audiences, and deadlines, so organization is key. Confidence to challenge ideas, suggest different approaches, and find better ways of doing things is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven 2-4 years' experience delivering B2B event marketing campaigns, ideally across conferences, exhibitions, or awards.
• Outstanding copywriting skills, capable of turning complex topics into clear, engaging messages.
• Experience planning and delivering multi-channel campaigns across email, social, and web.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage several campaigns simultaneously.
• A good understanding of campaign performance and the confidence to use data to improve results.
• A proactive, collaborative approach with the confidence to take ownership of your work.
• Experience with marketing technologies, campaign analytics, and performance reporting is advantageous.
• Marketing qualifications are preferred but not required if experience is strong.
