[Hiring] Senior Digital Strategist @Forward Blue

Role Description

Forward Blue is a grassroots-funded progressive PAC that raises money and builds power for bold Democrats nationwide and turns out low-propensity young voters. We're hiring a Senior Digital Strategist to own day-to-day production of our fundraising program. You will take a fundraising push from idea to inbox:

• Write or edit the copy
• Build the segments
• Set up and read the tests
• QA every send
• Report what worked

This is a cycle role with the opportunity to become permanent, with an estimated end date of November 31, 2028.

Qualifications

• 4+ years (or two full cycles) on the email or SMS team of a campaign, PAC, advocacy group, or digital firm, with direct responsibility for small-dollar fundraising sends.
• Hands-on build experience in at least one mass email platform or CRM (ActionKit, NGP/EveryAction, Action Network, Switchboard, or similar).
• A track record of designing A/B tests, reading results correctly, and acting on them.
• Fast, clean fundraising copy, plus the editing and proofreading discipline to catch errors in other people's drafts.
• Comfort with spreadsheets for pulling, cleaning, and summarizing send and revenue data.

Requirements

• Experience with seven- or eight-figure digital fundraising programs.
• Broadcast and P2P SMS production.
• Basic HTML for email templates.
• Hex, SQL or a BI tool for self-serve reporting.
