Role Description
We're seeking an experienced SEO Consultant specialized in technical SEO and page speed optimization to significantly improve our website performance and organic traffic.
This is a project-based opportunity to work directly with the founder on diagnosing core SEO issues and implementing effective solutions until desired outcomes are achieved.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years experience as a Technical SEO Specialist
Requirements
- Diagnose our website's technical SEO issues, particularly around page speed and web performance
- Execute improvements until we achieve significant organic traffic growth
- Deep expertise optimizing page speed and Core Web Vitals
- Identify and resolve complex technical SEO issues independently
- Implement server-side optimizations that dramatically improve performance
- Stay current with Google's evolving technical requirements
- Quickly diagnose the root causes of SEO issues
- Prioritize optimizations based on potential impact and implementation effort
- Develop comprehensive action plans with clear steps
- Adapt approach based on website-specific constraints
- Verifiable track record of increasing organic traffic
- Implement changes that lead to measurable ranking improvements
- Ensure new content gets properly indexed and ranked
- Track and report on key performance metrics
- Explain complex technical concepts in accessible language
- Create clear documentation and implementation guides
- Provide regular progress updates without being prompted
- Justify recommendations with data and industry best practices
- Take projects from diagnosis through implementation to completion
- Test changes thoroughly before full deployment
- Measure the impact of optimizations against baseline metrics
- Continuously refine approach based on results
