[Hiring] Organic Social Media Manager @KittySpout

Role Description

KittySpout / DoggySpout is looking for a Social Media Manager to join our team! You will own organic social for both brands end to end across every social channel. You decide what each account is for, who it should bring in and what content grows it. Then you plan it, create it, publish it every day and adjust based on what the numbers tell you. This isn't a role for keeping the lights on: we want someone who will transform our socials and turn them into a super-engaged community that people actually want to be part of.

You report to our Influencers & Partnerships Manager and have a designer for bigger creative pieces, but the thinking is yours and you're strong on graphics and short-form video yourself. We are looking for someone with 2+ years running organic social for a DTC or consumer brand, who has personally created and published the content and can show the accounts they grew and the numbers they moved.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience running organic social for a DTC or consumer brand.
• Native-level written English.
• Hands-on Organic Social: creating and publishing content yourself.
• Multi-brand, Multi-platform experience.
• Design skills: ability to build clean, on-brand graphics and stories.
• Experience with hooks, captions, and short-form video.
• Trend spotting skills on TikTok and Instagram.
• Data-driven mindset.
• Excellent cultural fit as per our values.
• Excited to play a big role in scaling the company.

Requirements

• Proof of accounts you grew and numbers you moved.
• Ability to run two brands across every social channel.
• Time zone overlap with the US and Canada.
• No issue working overtime or on weekends if needed.
• Bonus points: experience with pet, home, or wellness brands; working with creators or UGC.
