Role Description

Mission Sierra Media is a growing video production and digital marketing agency serving home-service and small-business clients across the U.S. We build the ad creative, run the campaigns, and manage the full client relationship — and we're looking for a full-time Media Buyer who can take real ownership of campaign setup, targeting, and performance across our client roster.

What you'll do:

• Manage Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads accounts for a portfolio of active clients — primarily home-service businesses (contractors, landscapers, HVAC, specialty trades) running lead-generation campaigns.
• Build and launch ad sets, set precise geographic targeting based on each client's actual service area, monitor daily performance, and make real-time optimization decisions.
• Work closely with account management and creative teams in Slack, flag problems, ask questions, and push back when something doesn't look right.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Meta Ads and Google Ads management, ideally in an agency setting with multiple client accounts running simultaneously.
• Strong command of English, written and verbal — communicating directly with our U.S.-based team daily.
• Deep comfort with U.S. geography and local market logic — understanding service areas, drive-time radii, and regional targeting.
• A geography-first targeting approach: building audiences from zip codes and service radii.
• Genuine analytical judgment — questioning onboarding data, catching inconsistencies, and understanding the "why" behind a client's targeting.
• Reliable availability that overlaps substantially with U.S. Eastern/Central business hours.
• Experience with Meta Ads Manager, Meta Business Suite, and Google Ads at a campaign-builder level.

Requirements

• Experience with lead-gen funnels specifically (vs. e-commerce ad experience).
• Familiarity with CRM/lead-tracking tools (we use VidLead).
• A marketing or business degree, though we care more about demonstrated skill than credentials.

Hiring Process

• Short initial interview, followed by a paid skills assessment: we'll give you a real (anonymized) client brief and ask you to walk us through how you'd build the targeting and campaign structure, with your reasoning.
• We're hiring for judgment, not just platform familiarity.
