Role Description
You will be our first dedicated marketer, and you will own marketing for the training business from strategy through execution.
-
The job starts with making us look like the firm we actually are, which includes creating a website, materials, and proof that hold up in front of senior enterprise buyers.
-
Build a top of funnel that gives our sales team real conversations to work with.
-
Maintain a steady rhythm, measure what works, and cut what does not.
-
Develop a brand that stands on the firm itself, not on any single person's voice, based on:
-
Client results
-
Our program
-
The many practitioners who design and teach it
-
Use AI heavily to research, produce, and adapt content while ensuring messaging is consistent across channels.
-
Define what success looks like, how to achieve it, and execute the plan.
Responsibilities
-
Website:
Own our website end to end, maintaining it using AI coding tools. Your first big project is to:
-
Pivot the site to be training-first.
-
Update it with how our programs work now: flexible length; virtual, on-site, or hybrid delivery; and the "customizable, not custom" framing.
-
Own conversion paths, forms, page speed, SEO basics, and analytics.
-
Positioning and packaging:
Work with program designers to create clear program shapes and write accompanying language.
-
Proof:
Build a library of case studies, outcome data, and testimonials from the programs we run.
-
Sales enablement and lead magnets:
Partner with sales on materials and offers that start conversations, including pitch decks and lead magnets.
-
Channel mix:
Define and execute which channels we invest in, adjusting as data comes in.
-
Measurement:
Own signal metrics and share a short weekly report. Run small, fast experiments to evaluate effectiveness.
-
Budget:
Manage a monthly budget for tools, ads, materials, and events, deciding how to allocate funds without needing sign-off on every line item.
-
Partnership with sales:
Collaborate with sales on target accounts, campaigns, and messaging.
-
Know the space:
Maintain an understanding of:
-
How product teams work
-
How AI is changing their work
-
Where enterprises are getting stuck on AI adoption
