Role Description
The North American Growth Leader is a strategic commercial role responsible for driving regional market assessment, segmentation, and long-term product strategy. Serving as the bridge between regional market realities and global product lines, you will define end-to-end solution architecture, craft go-to-market attack plans, and partner with Marketing to drive demand. While you own early-stage prospecting, qualification, and internal solution advocacy, you will collaborate closely with Sales to advance opportunities, ultimately accountable for commercial pipeline growth, target account penetration, and profitable solution margins.
Essential Responsibilities
-
Own the market assessment and sizing for North America: develop TAM, SAM, and SOM analyses, identify trends, and ensure consistent methodology across the team.
-
Define, implement and maintain market segmentation and target account lists: develop segmentation criteria, identify buyer personas, and build standardized target account lists to guide prospecting and acquisition.
-
Collaborate with Global Product Line on North American market intelligence: feed regional insights, regulatory trends, and competitive findings into global roadmap planning.
-
Support Long Term Strategy (LTS) planning: provide regional market insights and multi-year evolution perspectives to inform 3-5 year product strategy.
-
Create the commercial strategy and attack plan: define regional positioning, value proposition, and go-to-market approaches. Own the sales playbook that translates strategy into execution.
-
Develop and own the overall solution definition end-to-end: build the complete architecture (hardware, software, licensing, TCO) as a master reference for consistent positioning.
-
Facilitate demand creation and customer engagement: coordinate with Marketing on lead flow, speak at events, and conduct product demos (as a non-technical SME) to articulate solution value.
-
Own prospecting and opportunity identification: qualify new opportunities using strategic discovery, handing off to Sales once a commercial approach is defined.
-
Support the progression of qualified opportunities through the sales cycle: provide market and architecture context to Sales during proposals, attending key customer moments without owning execution.
-
Act as champion for the solution internally: drive awareness across teams, train Sales on positioning at launch, and feed customer learnings back to the business.

Minimum of 5 years experience in business planning, market strategy, or commercial analysis.
Desired Characteristics
-
Entrepreneurial mindset: able to conceptualize, develop, and drive market opportunities and growth initiatives as a business end-to-end; comfortable building and operating initiatives as a business owner, not just a functional resource.

Proactive self-starter with "doer" mindset, able to drive execution with clear ownership and discipline.
