Role Description

This dynamic role will be perfect for an individual who is looking to pursue a career in B2B marketing within the retail software industry. We’re looking for people who value driving customer acquisition, high-impact content creation, and working in an innovative environment.

As an Inbound Marketer at DotActiv, you would be responsible for:

• Supporting DotActiv’s inbound marketing engine through AI-assisted content creation and internal technical knowledge;
• Executing content strategies by creating articles, case studies, emails, and lead magnets aligned to customer journeys;
• Leveraging modern generative AI tools to draft, repurpose, and scale content efficiently;
• Conducting interviews with internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to extract technical domain knowledge for marketing assets;
• Tracking key inbound performance metrics (traffic, conversion rates, and MQLs) using CRM and marketing platforms;
• Optimising SEO strategies to ensure content ranks effectively in search engines;
• Researching industry benchmarks and self-learning best-practice frameworks for SEO, copywriting, and AI prompting to continuously refine daily output quality;
• Breaking down long-form content into short-form assets, social posts, or infographics;
• Updating and optimising older, underperforming blog posts and landing pages to extend asset lifecycles and boost conversion rates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in B2B content marketing or inbound marketing (SaaS/Software experience is a strong advantage).
• Proven, daily proficiency using AI tools to accelerate research, copywriting, and content ideation.
• Solid understanding of inbound marketing fundamentals, lead generation funnels, and SEO basics.
• Exceptional written English skills with a sharp eye for editing and technical accuracy.
• Team player.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Self-motivated and results oriented.
• Marketing, Communications, or Business related degrees are preferred.
