[Hiring] Growth Associate @Melotech

Role Description

Melotech is scaling fast, and organic reach is one of the engines behind it. As Growth Associate (Intern), you help run that engine end to end: the creators, the formats, the trends and the numbers behind them. This is an organic growth role first, measured on how much reach every hour and every euro brings back. You work directly with our founders, our Growth Manager, product and data team.

Today that means a steady stream of new products that each deserve a shot at going viral across TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. Your first job is to build the machine behind that:

• Finding the creators and communities that move culture.
• Turning what works into repeatable playbooks.
• Running more experiments in a week than most teams run in a quarter.

On a typical day, your tasks may include:

• Creator network: finding, briefing and paying creators and pages at scale, from small accounts with loyal audiences to the ones that set trends, and keeping the ones that deliver.
• Seeding: getting our products into the formats and communities where they can travel, at the right moment and in the right volume.
• Trend spotting: catching formats and memes early and moving on them within days, not weeks.
• Experiments: running many cheap tests every week, with clear rules for what wins and what gets killed, and turning the winners into playbooks the team can repeat.
• New channels: finding places where attention is still cheap, from fan pages and communities to platforms nobody on the team is using yet.
• Organic and paid together: working with our Growth Manager so organic winners get scaled with paid, and what paid learns feeds back into organic.
• Measurement: knowing which number answers which question, for example what saves and shares tell you that views do not, and what each view really costs.
• Tooling: building the trackers, scripts and automations you need, with platform data and AI tools as your daily coworkers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree at a top-tier university, where you are a top achiever: top of your class, with the grades, scholarships or awards to show for it.
• You spend real time on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, and you can explain why a post took off and what made the hook work.
• You have grown an account, a page, a student society or a side project, or helped a startup or brand with social, and you can share the numbers, even small ones.
• You enjoy working with creators, or you create yourself, and you have a feel for content that looks native.
• You come up with ideas nobody else would try, and you are keen to test them properly, with small budgets and clear rules.
• You are comfortable in spreadsheets and eager to learn SQL, Python and AI tools to automate the boring parts.
• You thrive in a fast-paced and performance-oriented environment.

Requirements

• You are or were a creator yourself, or have run pages with a real following, and you're into media, entertainment, gaming or social.

What the process will look like

• We hire on a rolling basis. Earliest starting date is always ASAP.
• Initial interview: 30-minute introductory call, getting to know you.
• Case interview: 90-minute case discussion, present and debate your skills.
• Founder interview: 90-minute interview with our CEO, going deep on all topics.
• Offer, contract signing and onboarding.
• As we are still in stealth, you will learn more about Melotech as you progress through the stages.
