Role Description
We are seeking a data-driven Google Ads Specialist to manage and optimize paid search campaigns across multiple client accounts. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in Google Ads, particularly lead generation, who can monitor campaign performance, identify optimization opportunities, and ensure campaigns meet established KPIs.
You will work closely with Senior Account Directors and other paid media specialists to execute campaign plans, improve performance, and drive measurable results. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple accounts in a collaborative, fully remote environment.
What you will do
-
Manage the day-to-day execution, monitoring, and optimization of Google Ads campaigns across approximately 5β6 client accounts.
-
Ensure campaigns align with established strategies, budgets, and performance goals, with a focus on lead generation and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities
-
Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns across Search, Performance Max, and remarketing.
-
Execute campaign plans developed by senior account leadership, ensuring campaigns meet established KPIs and business objectives.
-
Monitor lead generation performance, including cost per lead (CPL), cost per acquisition (CPA), conversion volume, and lead quality.
-
Conduct keyword research, search term analysis, and audience research to identify opportunities for improved targeting and campaign efficiency.
-
Optimize bidding strategies, budgets, ad copy, and campaign settings based on performance data.
-
Analyze campaign performance, identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide actionable optimization recommendations.
-
Prepare performance reports and use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to evaluate campaign results and understand conversion behavior.
-
Troubleshoot conversion tracking issues and work with internal engineering or technical teams when implementation support is needed.
-
Collaborate closely with Senior Account Directors and other paid media specialists to execute strategies and share performance insights.
-
Maintain high standards of campaign quality, accuracy, and attention to detail across multiple accounts.
Qualifications
-
2+ years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing Google Ads campaigns.
-
Strong experience with lead generation campaigns, including optimizing for CPL, CPA, conversion volume, and lead quality.
-
Solid knowledge of Google Ads, particularly Search campaigns, Performance Max, remarketing, and bidding strategies.
-
Experience managing multiple client accounts and monitoring campaign performance against established KPIs.
-
Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), including interpreting reports, understanding conversion events, and troubleshooting tracking issues.
-
Familiarity with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and conversion tracking, particularly troubleshooting and reporting rather than implementing tracking from scratch.
-
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate performance data into actionable optimizations.
-
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
-
Proactive communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teammates in a remote environment.
-
Comfortable working in a team-based structure, receiving strategic direction from senior team members, and taking ownership of day-to-day campaign execution.
Nice to Have
-
Experience managing Google Ads campaigns for healthcare, medical, or other lead generation-focused businesses.
-
Experience with consumer packaged goods (CPG), consumer goods, or e-commerce brands.
