[Hiring] Digital and Social Media Specialist @Pacha Soap Co.

Role Description

Pacha Soap Co. is looking for a creative, digitally minded marketer to help bring our brand to life across social media, email, and ecommerce. The Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist will lead the day-to-day management of Pacha’s social channels while also playing a key role in developing and executing email marketing campaigns.

Working closely with the Marketing Manager, this person will collaborate on campaign strategy and creative direction, then take ideas from concept through copywriting, design, build, and launch. They will also support Pacha’s ecommerce experience through product page creation, copywriting, imagery, and promotional updates in Shopify. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of projects from idea through execution.

The ideal candidate will be located in the Kansas City area with consideration for candidates throughout the Midwest.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and interact in a way that is consistent with Pacha Core Values.
• Own the day-to-day management of Pacha’s social media channels, including content planning, creation, scheduling, publishing, community engagement, and reporting.
• Develop social content calendars in partnership with the Marketing Manager and translate broader brand and campaign strategies into channel-specific content.
• Create engaging photo, video, graphic, and written content across social platforms, including styling products and identifying compelling environments for lifestyle content.
• Regularly visit Pacha retail partners, including Whole Foods Market, Sprouts Farmers Market, Sam’s Club, and other major retailers, to capture in-store content.
• Write social copy, respond to comments and messages, and actively cultivate a thoughtful and engaged brand community.
• Stay current on social trends and platform changes while tracking performance and using results to inform future content.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on monthly email planning, campaign priorities, product focuses, and promotional opportunities.
• Develop email campaigns from strategic direction through concept, copywriting, and content development, refining ideas with the Marketing Manager before moving into design.
• Design, build, QA, schedule, and launch polished, on-brand email campaigns, supporting ongoing testing and optimization based on performance.
• Build and update ecommerce content in Shopify, including product and collection pages, imagery, copy, and promotional updates.
• Support product launches and broader campaigns by maintaining consistent messaging and imagery across social, email, and ecommerce.
• Assist with influencer relationships, creator outreach, UGC, and brand partnerships while collaborating cross-functionally and maintaining organized content calendars and creative assets.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in social media, marketing, or a related field (internships and relevant coursework welcome).
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience managing brand social media accounts, including content creation, publishing, community management, and performance reporting.
• Experience creating short-form social content for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
• Experience designing and building marketing emails within an email marketing platform.
• Professional experience using Adobe Creative Cloud to create digital marketing assets and campaign creative.
• Working knowledge of ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, including experience creating or updating website and product content.
• Experience with Amazon Seller/Vendor Central is a plus but not required.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of social media management and what makes content successful across different platforms.
• Excellent written communication and copywriting skills with a strong instinct for brand voice.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong visual eye and ability to design polished, on-brand digital content and email campaigns.
• Comfortable creating and editing short-form photo and video content.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing links, copy, product information, and campaign builds.
• Ability to take a creative brief or strategic direction and independently carry a project through execution.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines at once.
• Comfortable working collaboratively while also taking ownership of their channels.
• Genuine enthusiasm for Pacha’s brand, products, and mission.
• The ability to travel periodically for trade shows, customer visits, and trips to our home office/manufacturing location in Hastings, Nebraska.
