[Hiring] Tax Agent - Secondary Reviewer @Etax

Role Description

As a Tax Agent, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing individual tax returns online before lodgement
• Making sure all required supporting communications and documents are received from clients
• Complying with ATO and Tax Practitioners Board guidelines
• Delivering the best tax outcomes for clients while maintaining accuracy and compliance
• Responding promptly and professionally to internal and client correspondence

Qualifications

• A Tax Agent License with 5+ years’ experience reviewing individual tax returns
• A degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable computer and high-speed internet connection
• Availability throughout July, particularly during the first two weeks

Requirements

• This is a short-term contract for the 2026 tax season, paid on a piece-rate basis per tax return completed.
• Under section 536AA of the Fair Work Act, pieceworkers are entitled to the periodic rate of pay at the national minimum wage.
• Workload will fluctuate throughout the season, with peak demand during the busiest periods.
• You’ll need to be available for online, self-paced training in June and start reviewing tax returns from July 1st.

This role is a work from home role, open to candidates anywhere in Australia. To join our Reviewer team, you’ll need to be based in Australia and able to work from your home for the full duration of your engagement with Etax, including training in late June.
