Role Description
As we win larger enterprise customers and more complex RFPs, we're creating a dedicated role to lead the way we respond, contract, and hand off deals. You'll be the person who brings order and professionalism to the deal lifecycle, so our sales and customer teams can focus on customers, and our operations teams get clean, executable commitments. You'll also help build our legal operations.
-
Draft, review, and redline MSAs, SOWs, and customer agreements; be the first set of eyes on customer paper, flagging issues and escalating to external counsel when needed.
-
Bring the same discipline to vendor contracts, including logistics and procurement agreements, starting in your first year.
-
Build and own a central response library and a standard contract template and clause bank.
-
Project manage RFPs, security questionnaires, and customer onboarding from intake to submission.
-
Keep proposals, contracts, and what Operations can deliver in lockstep, surfacing risks early.
-
Translate signed contracts into clear obligations for Operations and Customer Success, captured in our systems.
-
Build and maintain a register of customer requirements and commitments; the single source of truth for what weβve promised; that Compliance audits us against and stay ahead of renewals and key dates.
-
Set response SLAs and a repeatable workflow that raises our speed, consistency, and quality.
-
Build how we store and share contracts across the business including helping define, in an active project, which contract information sits in our CRM, sub-system, financial system, or legal register.
-
Flag new requirements from contracts and legal changes for Compliance's legal register and support the President and VP Finance on corporate commercial legal matters.
Qualifications
-
5β8 years in commercial contracts, contract management, or proposals/RFPs.
-
Confident drafting and redlining across MSAs and SOWs, and a sharp eye for non-standard terms and risk.
-
Law clerk or paralegal training, with corporate-commercial experience, is a strong asset. A law degree is not required.
-
Experience maintaining a legal register or tracking regulatory requirements is an asset; familiarity with ISO or R2 certifications is a bonus, and we'll train you on ours.
-
A strong project manager and cross-functional connector who can run several deadlines at once, coordinate many inputs, and challenge constructively.
-
Bonus: recycling, logistics, ITAD, or B2B-services background; CRM / CLM familiarity.
