[Hiring] Senior Counsel @Redgrave LLP

Role Description

Redgrave LLP is seeking an eDiscovery Senior Counsel with at least 10 years of experience managing eDiscovery in complex litigations and investigations. The candidate will work closely with client teams to advise on eDiscovery and Information Governance issues.

• Proficient in legal research and able to draft complex discovery-related and information governance-related work product, such as:
• Legal memorandums and correspondence
• Protective orders
• ESI agreements
• Motions
• Playbook components
• Defensibility memorandums
• Ability to draft talking points and outlines for client meetings, custodian interviews, meet and confer sessions, and motion hearings.
• Work directly with clients, merits firms, and other co-counsel to effectively manage client workstreams.
• Work with experts, including task and matter management and preparation of experts for oral testimony.
• Involved in industry-relevant organizations/groups and support firm initiatives in subjects and areas for thought leadership and development.

Qualifications

• At least ten (10) years of law firm experience
• Doctor of Jurisprudence degree
• Admitted to a US bar and willing to obtain DC admission if not already barred in a Redgrave jurisdiction
• Ability to travel up to 50% percent of the time
• Ability to travel internationally

• Provide clients with “excellent value” for the services provided, including identifying legal issues with clients and providing legal analysis and solutions.
• Provide advice to team members across the Firm on applicable laws and the interpretation of legal documents.
• Responsible for keeping the Firm informed on new laws, regulations, and industry trends.
• Meet the Redgrave LLP timekeeper expectations at every level.
• Prepare and execute on an annual basis a business development plan that targets new work from new and existing clients.
• Identify business development opportunities that result in business generation.
• Lead client engagements and teams with little oversight.
• Deliver client work product that requires little to no revisions and edits.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.
• Build cohesive teams that bring value to client engagements.
• Provide technical knowledge and insight.
• Interact and handle a range of clients.
• Maintain current and accurate time records, ensuring that time entry deadlines are met.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
