Role Description

The Longevity Health group of entities is looking to expand its legal department with the hiring of an Associate Counsel. The Longevity Health group is a clinical solutions company that offers Medicare Advantage ISNP plans and clinical management services in numerous states. This role requires someone that lives in Central or Eastern Standard Time Zones.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Edit and draft various agreements with varying complexity levels.
• Collaborate with most areas of the organization.
• Provide guidance, support, and education to internal resources.
• Advise the organization on a wide range of company and business law requirements.
• Position can be predominantly remote, reporting directly to a senior attorney in the legal department.

Qualifications

• Experience with NDA’s, MSA’s, SOW’s, BAA’s, Employment Law matters, Provider Billing Litigation/Claims, Legal/Regulatory/Compliance experience in a highly regulated health care/insurance industry.
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented.

Requirements

• Admitted and in good standing with a state bar and eligible for authorized in-house counsel designation if necessary.
• Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited and well-respected law school, preferably a U.S. News Top 50 law school.
• 6-8 years (minimum) as a practicing attorney with a focus on contracts and employment law.
• Medicare Advantage experience a plus.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry (Insurance a plus).
• Healthcare (Provider or Plan side) experience a plus.
• Effective communication skills - written and verbal.
• Ability to develop effective business relationships.
• Effective computer skills - MS Office, document management, version control.
