Role Description

We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Senior Strategic Sourcing Administer to lead sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management initiatives across high-spend clinical categories, including Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, and Imaging. This role manages a $100M contract portfolio consisting of procurement contracts, outsourced services programs, and purchasing initiatives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing organizational value while minimizing costs through effective supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing initiatives, and strong stakeholder partnerships. This position plays a critical role in collaborating with physicians, clinical leadership, and operational leaders to develop sourcing strategies for products with a high degree of physician preference, ensuring both financial stewardship and positive patient outcomes.

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am - 4pm
• This can be a remote position if you live in the following state(s) only: AZ, CA, NV, CO, NB & WY

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• Seven or more years of similar purchasing experience, including capital equipment purchase, Request For Proposal development, bid analysis, contract negotiation, and contracting.
• Extensive knowledge of products, procurement, and contracting processes in healthcare.
• Demonstrated skills in planning, directing, communications, negotiations, and statistical analysis.
• Effective organizational, communication, and human relation skills.
• Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously and effectively to meet multiple priorities.
• Ability to travel to any company facility for meetings and product or service assessment.
• Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet computer software applications.

Requirements

• Monitors, assesses, and re-bids or re-negotiates existing contracts and vendor agreements every one to three years.
• Identifies and develops new cost savings sources and vendor agreement opportunities through market monitoring, product research, and usage analysis.
• Manages the contracting processes for assigned areas, including the development of specifications and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Provides enterprise leadership and consultation to company facilities in contracting, procurement, and utilization of supplies.
• Facilitates implementation of new procurement processes, policies, procedures, and agreements.
• Collects, consolidates, and provides contract and procurement information to senior management.
• Monitors usage of products under Contract Management Agreements.
• Provides technical and expert counsel to other staff members in matters of assigned procurement area(s).
• Annual dollar contracting exceeds $100 million dollars.
