Role Description

This role is for Legal Editors, working remotely (US only) from 11/9 through 1/29 with potential for extension. It is a full-time position (40 hrs/week) with a quick interview process.

Qualifications

• JD required
• Licensed Attorney
• Document Review experience is not sufficient; must have Litigation and/or Transactional legal experience (Ideally 3+ years of experience in this space in recent roles)
• Transactional attorneys are also desired
• Recently retired attorneys could be excellent candidates
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Comfortable with Excel and web-based tools

Requirements

• This project will test the outputs from a Large Language Model (LLM) for the creation of AI-generated draft legal content, including memos and briefs; summaries of legal content types, including opinions and statutes; and research answers.
• Using Excel and other tools, a portion of the work will involve creating inputs/prompts for an LLM and analyzing outputs from the model for model training.
• Editors may be asked to evaluate outputs for specific legal content against a set of required elements.
• Editors may also be asked to evaluate the accuracy of both the summary, answer, and draft content, including any statutory rules or case citations contained within the output.
• For both tasks, editors will be required to provide assessment rating feedback and additional feedback commentary as necessary.
