Role Description
Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented, self-directed International Legal Assistant & Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join its internal Legal Affairs team. Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer (CLO), this professional will manage regulatory compliance tracking, legal research, document drafting, calendar management, and operational record-keeping within cloud platforms like Salesforce, Notion, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
Key Responsibilities

Legal Operations & Regulatory Compliance:

Conducts thorough legal and institutional research to support regulatory compliance frameworks and institutional policy adherence.

Maintains precise tracking systems to monitor compliance deadlines, regulatory filings, and legal calendars.

Proactively identifies process improvement opportunities to mitigate risk and maintain institutional compliance.

Legal Documentation, Calendaring & Research:

Drafts, reviews, and proofreads legal documents, institutional agreements, compliance notices, and formal correspondence.

Coordinates and manages legal calendars, court or administrative filing timelines, and executive meetings for the Chief Legal Officer.

Ensures high-quality document organization, audit trails, and data hygiene across cloud databases.

Platform Administration & Team Collaboration:

Utilizes Salesforce to track cases, log leads, manage contact databases, and generate custom operational reports.

Collaborates with executive leadership, legal counsel, and academic administrative staff using Notion, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.

Takes complete ownership of end-to-end legal support workflows without requiring constant micro-supervision.
Qualifications

Hands-on professional experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or regulatory compliance specialist (preferably supporting US-based organizations or legal teams).

Experience using cloud tools such as Salesforce (case management, custom views, lead tracking, reporting), Notion, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.

Complete written and spoken English fluency to draft legal documentation and communicate effectively with executive leadership.

Self-starter mindset with exceptional attention to detail, strong follow-through, and a commitment to process enhancement.

Full availability to work standard US Pacific business hours (Monday β Friday, 8:45 AM β 5:15 PM PT).

Requirements

University degree in Law, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.

$1,600 USD/month with flexible room for negotiation based on experience.
