[Hiring] Corporate Counsel @NTT DATA Services

Role Description

We are currently seeking a Corporate Counsel for Commercial contracts - Remote in the US to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States. This attorney will support the sales and delivery organizations of NTT DATA North America and work on transactions and other matters across our various business verticals. As Corporate Counsel, you will be expected to negotiate and document contracts for complex information technology, applications, business process, digital, consulting and AI services (“IT Services”) transactions.

• Lead counsel in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts in support of IT Services
• Advise business clients on terms and conditions, and risks, in complex outsourcing relationships (including scope of the services, service level agreements, pricing schedules, intellectual property, benchmarking, termination, and IP)
• Assist in developing and achieving resolutions to disputes with customers
• Enforce compliance with corporate policies
• Work collaboratively with internal corporate units and global stakeholders
• Manage internal executive briefings and escalations

Qualifications

• Curiosity and eagerness to learn
• Team player
• At least 5 years of experience as a lawyer, preferably with some law firm experience
• At least 2 years of experience drafting and negotiating complex IT Services agreements, including leading or “second chairing” the negotiation of outsourcing agreements
• Willingness to exercise independent judgment and interact with executives
• Strong written and verbal communications skills (English)
• Knowledge of the market for IT Services
• Flexibility and willingness to work with multiple stakeholders in an evolving business
• Licensed to practice law in at least one US state
