[Hiring] Consumer Litigation Counsel @Seyfarth Shaw LLP

Role Description

We are seeking a Consumer Litigation Counsel (General Litigation or Labor Employment Litigation preferred) with single plaintiff litigation experience. Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) litigation experience is also valued. This is a remote position, but depending on the location, you may have the ability to come into a local Firm office.

As a consumer litigation Counsel in the Litigation/Labor & Employment practices, you’ll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys.

• Manage high volume single plaintiff consumer litigation cases
• Work directly with opposing counsel
• Draft motions and pleadings
• Negotiate settlements
• Handle court appearances
• Prepare cases for trial
• Substantive client contact
• Significant involvement in case strategy and management

This non-partnership track role is full-time yet candidates are not expected to perform non-billable work, which allows for a predictable schedule that encourages healthy integration of work responsibilities and personal activities.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of general litigation experience, preferably single plaintiff work
• Fair Credit Reporting Act litigation experience and/or other consumer litigation experience preferred
• Top law firm experience, or a combination of law firm and in-house experience
• Strong work ethic and ability to drive cases to resolution
• Excellent academic credentials
• Analytical skills, and verbal and written communication skills
