Role Description

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani (GRSM), a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, has an opening for an Assistant Manager in its Virtual Legal Support (VLS) department. This full-time exempt position is fully remote working the hours of 3pm-midnight EST / 2pm-11pm CST / 1pm-10pm MST / 12pm-9pm PST. Mid-size to large law firm experience is preferred.

• Provide daily leadership and promote the development of Virtual Legal Support (VLS).
• Be available for your team during their shifts, which may include occasional weekend availability.
• Manage workflow by tracking tasks, identifying bottlenecks, and working with upper management to implement process improvements.
• Evaluate and make recommendations to allocate resources effectively across all services based on workload and deadlines.
• Ensure attention to detail and accuracy while navigating a high volume of communication.
• Be a goal-oriented team player, personable, professional, and adaptable to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant leadership experience in a large multi-location defense litigation firm.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Law firm experience is required.
• Advanced skillset using Microsoft Suite Programs (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Benefits

• The yearly salary range is between $65,000-$78,000.
• The actual salary offered may be above or below the identified range and will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, and the location where the position is filled.
