[Hiring] IT Manager @Cummins

Role Description

Participate as a key member of an IT Management Team and lead a group of intermediate level IT employees through financial management including:

• AOP
• Budget management
• Forecasting

Responsible for:

• People Management, including work plan development, performance management, and people development
• Team building and development including organization structure, recruiting, and global team management
• Compiling and presenting Management Reports on team performance including metrics and deliverable status
• Communicating status to senior management
• Six Sigma training, usage, and goal attainment for the team
• Ensuring team adherence to all IT processes, policies, and procedures, including IT Security
• IT Controls compliance for the team, and engagement with end users

Configure SAP (ERP) system and Oracle Demand planning by working closely with respective global teams to manage business processes and create synchronous flows between physical and system processes in the area of:

• Manufacturing
• Materials
• Finance

Lead and identify improvement processes for major business systems that will have significant impact on company bottom-line performance. Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements. Stay abreast of advances in technology and develop computer information resources, providing for:

• Data security and control
• Strategic computing
• Disaster recovery

Lead daily operations of the IT department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting deadlines. Coordinate operational activities with external stakeholders and analyze complex data to inform operations decisions and activities. Prepare operational progress and status reports and assist in the development of computer and information systems.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer, Software or Electronics Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience as an IT Business, Applications or Technical Analyst, Technical Analyst Principal, SAP Developer or related position
• Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer, Software or Electronics Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience as an IT Business, Applications or Technical Analyst, Technical Analyst Principal, SAP Developer or related position
