[Hiring] Technical Recruiter @Critical Materials Group

Role Description

The Full Cycle Technical Recruiter owns end-to-end recruiting for CMG's technical and engineering hiring — spanning Production & Engineering, Programs, and Operations — from sourcing and pipeline-building through offer and close. Partnering closely with CMG's Talent Acquisition Manager and hiring managers across the business, this role is critical to CMG's ability to scale its engineering and manufacturing workforce as the company rebuilds domestic energetics production capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Pipeline Development
  • Proactively source and build pipelines of qualified technical and engineering candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other sourcing tools.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill technical roles, including passive-candidate outreach.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for recurring/anticipated technical hiring needs.
• Full-Cycle Recruiting & Candidate Experience
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle in Ashby — from intake through offer — for assigned technical requisitions.
  • Screen candidates for technical and cultural fit, coordinating and guiding candidates through the interview process.
  • Deliver a high-quality, responsive candidate experience at every stage of the process.
• Hiring Manager Partnership
  • Partner with hiring managers to scope roles, define candidate profiles, and align on interview process and scorecards.
  • Provide regular pipeline updates and market/talent insights to hiring managers and leadership.
  • Support offer strategy and negotiation in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Manager.
• Process & Employer Brand
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data and hiring metrics in Ashby.
  • Represent CMG's employer brand to candidates, including at relevant recruiting events.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of CMG's technical recruiting process and tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong track record recruiting for technical or engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience sourcing passive candidates and building pipelines for hard-to-fill roles.
• Experience using an ATS (Ashby experience a plus) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.).
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with technical hiring managers.
• Comfort working as part of a small, fast-moving TA function at a scaling company.

Requirements

• Experience recruiting for a manufacturing, defense, or government-contracting organization.
• Familiarity with ITAR/export-control or security-clearance considerations in technical hiring.
• Experience recruiting for both engineering and production-floor roles.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

Remote position (U.S.-based), with periodic travel to CMG's Texas campuses for recruiting events, interviews, and hiring-manager collaboration.
