Role Description

Talent Development is the capability layer of that model. We hold an uncompromising talent bar, and our work is building the conditions underneath it. We provide people with the context they need to perform from day one, develop our leaders to have the hard conversations, and provide support to help our employees get through obstacles blocking their performance.

We're looking for a highly motivated Talent Development Partner & Performance Coach to wear both hats. What You'll Do

• Performance Coaching:
  • Carry your own roster of coaching clients and help evolve the practice.
  • Provide 1:1 coaching over video conference for 10–20 employees across various departments and levels of seniority.
  • Coach on topics including leadership skills, career pathing, feedback, self-awareness, energy management, and interpersonal challenges.
  • Co-create goals and plans for each client, recommending resources and coaching frequency.
  • Run triad coaching engagements when requested to align on performance and development plans.
  • Deliver team coaching workshops as required.
• Talent Development:
  • Design, deliver and measure programs that scale impact across the company.
  • Support delivery and evolution of Leadership Labs for people managers and senior directors.
  • Support onboarding to ensure new hires have the context to perform early.
  • Build ad hoc learning programs and materials for teams as needs surface.
  • Use adult learning principles to assess needs and design learning experiences.
• Across both hats:
  • Use AI in your work and help build AI fluency across KOHO.
  • Measure what changed, not who attended, and report on impact.
  • Bring trends observed back to your manager with recommendations.

Qualifications

• Completed an ICF-recognized coach training program.
• Working towards an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) designation.
• Coached a diverse range of clients with different motivations and backgrounds.
• High ethical standards, including maintaining coach-client confidentiality.
• Ability to build high-trust relationships quickly.
• Experience in building and delivering leadership development programs.
• Strong facilitation skills in public speaking and engaging diverse groups.
• Fluent with AI tools and capable of teaching others to use them.
• Comfortable with data and measuring program effectiveness.
• Experience with a Learning Management System (Sana).
• Embodies core values of warmth, dynamism, craft, user-first, anti-cynicism, and anti-complacency.

Requirements

• Experience with software development or engineering audiences (nice to have).
• Team or relationship coaching credentials, or a team effectiveness model like the Five Behaviours (nice to have).
• Experience in a regulated environment or working with SMEs on compliance content (nice to have).

Benefits

• Budgeted salary range: $100,000 – $130,000 CAD/year.
• Pay transparency commitment based on various factors including market data and internal equity.
