[Hiring] Talent Acquisition Lead @VeraData

Role Description

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead to bring in talented people with fresh perspectives who share our commitment to meaningful work. You’ll lead recruiting across our whole enterprise, finding analysts, strategists, creatives, and client partners who care about the mission as much as the craft.

• Own hiring from first conversation to accepted offer.
• Help shape how we tell our story to potential hires.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting, including in-house recruiting across multiple functions or business units.
• Strong skills with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and sourcing tools; HRIS experience (such as UKG) is a plus.
• A candidate-first mindset, with the judgment to balance speed, quality, and fairness.
• Enthusiasm for partnering with nonprofits and mission-driven organizations.
• Bonus points for experience recruiting for agencies, consulting firms, data organizations, or nonprofit-serving organizations.
• AIRS, LinkedIn Certified Professional Recruiter, or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

• Partner with hiring managers to define what great looks like before a role opens.
• Source, screen, and guide candidates through a structured, fair hiring process.
• Build lasting talent pipelines and communities for frequently hired roles.
• Research market pay, prepare offers, and negotiate within approved ranges.
• Champion internal mobility for career growth.
• Lead employer branding across careers pages, postings, and social media.
• Set consistent interview standards and scorecards; train hiring managers.
• Track key hiring metrics and continuously improve hiring processes.
• Ensure compliance with EEO, pay transparency, and background check requirements.

Location

This is a remote role with occasional travel to connect with teams and attend events. We prefer candidates based in the Eastern or Central time zone for real-time collaboration during core hours of 9:00 AM–5:30 PM Eastern.
