Role Description

As the Talent Acquisition Assistant, you will play an important role in helping us attract and hire exceptional talent. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will assist with recruitment coordination activities, including:

• Interview scheduling
• Reference checks
• Offer administration
• Candidate communications

This opportunity is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to a collaborative team environment. Through this role, you will gain valuable exposure to end-to-end recruitment processes while supporting the growth of a dynamic organization.

This is a 6-month term position with the possibility of extension.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in talent acquisition, human resources, recruitment coordination, or a customer/client-facing role. Experience supporting recruitment activities, including interview coordination, candidate communication, and administrative processes, is considered an asset.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to providing exceptional service to candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and LinkedIn Recruiter is an asset.
• Understanding of applicable employment legislation and HR best practices, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Benefits

• Compensation: $26.50/Hr
• Primary Work Location: This is a remote role open to candidates residing in Canada.
